I think its because blogger seems so formal or something. I'll post some meaningless dribble on my myspace blog in a split second, but will wait forever to type something here. Enough about my hang-ups with this place, eh?
Today is MLK Jr. Day and I'm working. I don't mind working (hell it pays the bills and I've actually have been enjoying it as of lately) but I really hate working on a day like today. I wanted to spend sometime doing some volunteer work in the community, but alas, I'm here at work. It doesn't help that I have a headache from hell either. I had one of those huge, oversized Hershey's Milk Chocolate with Almond bars this morning around 11:30 and that has been it for the entire day. I'm assuming that threw my blood sugar to hell and back and thus the killer headache. I really need to stop eating chocolate like it's a nutritional substition for a real meal. I'll end up with diabetes or something. Then I'll have to call that old white guy with the beard that pronounces diabetes all weird for my diabetes medication and supplies.
I was finally rated on some swaps on swap-bot.com today which is totally righteous! 7 or so were for email swaps but one was for a package snail mail swap which is what I find really important. It was a international chocolate swap in which I was suppose to send some chocolate to my partner. I happend to have someone in the U.K. and my package weighed 1.9 pounds (I sent an assload of stuff) and it ended up costing me $11.95! I couldn't believe it when the postman told me how much it cost. Totally redonkulous. Since I'm pretty much broke, I'm sticking more towards pen-pal letter swaps - it's still 94 cents to send an international letter. Hey, 94 cents is alot when you work a part-time minimum wage job, okay!
Uggh, my head! I hate to say I hope the afternoon is slow because I really do like my boss and hope that business picks up for her, but my head hurts an insane amount and I don't feel like dealing with some of the ladies that come in here. I guess I'll just put on a smile and fake it if I have to.
